We will probably do the same, but not from where I sit. It is up to underwriting to non-renew, but that won't happen until the current policy expires.

About that, but probably more. It probably should have been a total loss.

I love stupid thiefs.
Just finished talking to a cop on a stolen Buick. He was on patrol and was driving through an apartment complex and saw the vehicle with out of state tags. He ran the tags and the vehicle was reported as stolen. However the address was the same as where the vehicle was recovered. It is a large apartment complex. Now the cop is going to interview the owner.
Afterwards, we started looking at teh file and the owner sent us pictures. Looking at them again, we noticed the pictures are dated 6 days after the vehicle was reported stolen. That folks is insurance fraud and will likely lead to an arrest.
Thanks for making my job easy!!!

It has been one of those days...
At least there was one point of humor in it.
Had a guy call upset we had paid his lienholder and left him upside down on his loan. He wanted us to cancel the check to the lienholder and refuse to pay them. Why? because he still owed them $3000 and didn't have a car.
Sooo.... we called his lienholder to try to resolve teh issue. They refused to help him because the majority of what he still owed was late fees. His response to this was....
"I PAY MY BILLS….WHEN I HAVE MONEY" He went on to explain that he shouldn't be charged a late fee when he doesn't have any money to pay his bills.
To him this made perfect sense and he argued with teh lienholder for a good 20 minutes over this. If only the world really worked this way...

As if getting hit with 2 hurricanes isn't enough, now I have to try to figure out how to get a Tahoe out of the top of a tree in the mountains of Colorado... The fun never ends!

He missed his turn and kept going until the road disappeared. Then he tried to turn around and backed off the side of the mountain...
