I know we have been wanting to get out and go camping again. With no other parties, trips, etc... planned yet, who would be interested in an April camping trip? What about somewhere with SCUBA options?
I would suggest the 12th, 26th, or even the 19th (though Mike and Teri would be at the lake potentially this week).

well...Lake Murray is a very pretty place to camp/scuba and there is a diveshop with WORKING airfill station at the marina nearby. I think it would be cheaper at Lake Murray than CSSP. The campsite next to the dive site where I like to train is for primitive camping. www.oklahomaparks.com/detail.asp?id=1+5U+6446Lake Murray State Park camping fees:All Rates Include Utility Fees All Rates Are Per Night and Per Tent or RVSemi-Modern Sites Include Water and Electricity Modern Sites Include Water, Electricity and Sewer Rates Are Subject To Change 14 Days Maximum Stay Primitive: $8.00 Semi-Modern: $15.00 Modern: $18.00 Preferred: $21.00

wow, that's a beautiful park and looks like it would offer a lot of things to do for those of us (me) who don't scuba since there's golf etc.

I'd love to go camping any weekend with enough notice. My only limitation this coming month is that I may be in a Covance study from the 9th to the 18th. However, If I miss camping cause of that, its alright. Make sure you guys get out camping while the weather is nice:) Just bring me lots of pictures! heheh

Don't worry. It is just the start of the camping season. I am sure we will have plenty of trips.

i spoke to my students' parents last night, and they are ok with going to Lake Murray the 5th and 6th. Honestly, they kinda liked the idea of not paying a park entry fee

So, do you do a tent sort of thing or sleep under the stars or an in the truck kind of thing out there?

How big is your tent?
How much do they run?
Best place to get one?
