Well, it sounds like there has been a positive response to doing the dice game again this year.
We will be doing 2 - 3 gifts at @ $5 each not to exceed $30 total (that could mean $20 - 30 for a couple if they both play seperately). I would also encourage everyone to pick up one fun or "gag" gift that is fairly cheap.
For those who don't know, here are the rules of the dice game: 1) Everyone brings 2 - 3 wrapped gifts. These can be serious gifts, funny gifts, or cool gifts, but should be something someone might want to take home. 2) Everyone sits in a circle with the gifts in the center. 3) A tray is passed around the circle with a set of dice. Each person rolls the dice once. ~ When doubles are rolled that person chooses a gift from the center, does not open it, and rolls again. 4) This continues until all of the gifts in the center are gone. A timer is then set. 5) The dice are then passed around again. Doubles now allow you to steal a gift from another person as well as roll again. ~ You are not allowed to steal someone's last gift. 6) When the timer goes off, the dice stop, and the gifts are opened. (You can trade with anyone you want.)

Start looking now. Sometimes you can find good deals and bargains on some cool stuff long before the christmas shopping season gets here.
Also, it is usually easier to spend $5 each month for 3 months, than to pull $15 - $20 out of your already tight christmas budget...

FYI, if I have the boy by then, i'll be spending the evening at home with him. New baby + lots of people during the cold season= not good. otherwise, i'll try to make. Michael is already set to work that night, though.

That's cool. Don't stress your self out right now. If you can make it, cool, if not, you can bet there will be plenty of opportunities next year.

well, it's official. I will not be able to make the party.
induction scheduled: 12/31
at least I know where I will be having my New Year's Party.... sleeping blissfully and comfortably just before the tide of terror begins.

You could have the first baby of 2008! They get lots of free stuff. I'm sure there will be several moms inducing on that day.

Sol, Christina and I need to get together with you and Micheal; we have a baby present.
Concerning the baby: You know...you *could* put him in the gift exchange, but that would exceed Chad's $30.00 cap (I'm a sick man).

Make sure you don't get the one that is about as big as a bag of flour and wiggles a lot.

No, Sol is giving her's away. Didn't you read the post?
Speaking of which, what size of box do you think Havoc would fit in?
