I know some of you have plans with family on Thanksgiving day. Would there be any benefit to having our annual feast on Friday rather than Thursday?
For those that have not been around in the past, we typically have a big fest in which everyone brings some dish to contribute and eat together as a group. People usually stay and hang out and talk and relax for the afternoon and eat leftovers. It typically does not turn in a drunken party even though there is wine available.
This is open to anyone that doesn't already have plans to celebrate Thanksgiving.

Oo, we might be down, depends on what the family obligations are though.

We'll have a separate thread for the food, but don't worry, we almost always have both a ham and a turkey as well as a ton of awesome sides followed by a plethora of delicious deserts.

What date would benefit the most people?
November 23rd (friday evening)
November 24th (saturday evening)
or a date the following weekend after thanksgiving??
I should've made this a poll. . .

Saturday is cool. It could be either date. Keep in mind, this is more of a big feast than a huge party, but it is still a lot of fun.

Invitations went out last week so everyone should get them shortly. but we did put it down for Saturday. Chad should post it online (cause I don't know how) as soon as he gets out of the meeting he is in.

I love you all and will miss you dearly. I'm out of town fri-sun that weekend. Though I'm actually free on Thanksgiving (I know, whats that about? lol) ~sigh~ I'm bummed to miss you all, but had that post TG weekend planned for a couple of months.
