Hey all! I'm back! It was a crazy week and a half, but worth every last minute of it. Korea was beautiful, the food and alcohol were dirt cheap and tasted fantastic, and the parties were excellent. I got to spend a lot of good time with over 600 Korean Adoptees from 17 different countries. We were hosted by all kinds of large companies and government agencies, some good speeches, some not so great and a lot of apologies for us having to be sent away to other countries to be raised. (that part gets really old) The media followed us everywhere they were permitted which was kind of strange, and a few of my friends were interviewed multiple times. I stayed pretty tight with my girls from the east coast and all of our guy crew, so we looked pretty unapproachable I guess. Just as well though, it's not my idea of fun to deal with the press while trying to deal with some of the things going on in between stealing a few hours of sleep here and there then dressing to go party some more. All in all it was a completely fantastic trip and I can't wait for the next IKAA meeting in January. Some of my pics are loaded up for viewing (cut and paste the link, these boards don't seem to care for the @ in the middle of it) www.flickr.com/gp/11182341@N08/tP870Band I've put up links to some of our media coverage on my adoptee group forums in the news section www.taaag.org/forums
