Adonna has requested to go camping for her birthday this year. Anyone interested in joining us, let us know and we will keep you updated on plans. Right now we are considering somewhere fairly close like Ray Roberts. Not planning on any SCUBA at this point, but probably some hiking will take place.

We are going to head up there Wednesday, March 11th through Sunday March 15th. Our birthday is on Friday, March 13th. We will either bring a little cake or run and get one. But for sure The Sunday we get back we are heading to Chuck E Cheese for Billy.
At least this is the idea so far.

That would be AWESOME!!! Haven't seen Don in a while.
Sounds like it might be a decent sized group. That would be a lot of fun. If anyone (like Abby) want's to just come for a day, that would be cool too. I'm sure there will be a variety of things going on.
With so many people going/potentially going, it will probably be easiest if we each catch our own food, but if anyone wants to chip in with our family, let us know and we will keep you updated on the menu planning.

I'm okay either way. I don't mind buying my own foods since I'm mildly picky. But also don't mind sharing/pot lucking what I've brought with others too That always makes for variety fare:) Any ideas on where? I hear mineral wells has some beautiful rock formations and climbing, as well as hiking n such. Or something closer and easier in mind like ray roberts? ...or even farther away like Ok or Ark? |

I think the idea was to keep it close so people could come out and hang for the day if they wanted.
However, mineral wells is awesome and we need to go back there. It has been several years! I wonder how much it would be to get a climbing rig for those interested in climbing the rock walls?

We also don't have much storage room in the car and will have to make 2 trips to get our gear out there. We though about renting a trailer, but alas our car has no hitch... so Ray Roberts has been the initial idea.
