The 5th is on a Monday this year. This tends to be a pretty intense and long party. Do you guys want to do it on the 3rd (Saturday) or stick to Tradition and do it on the 5th (Monday)?
Even after you vote, I would like to hear why or why not a date works for you.

Hey, we've had a Seis de Mayo party before!! Although I *do* remember a certain Cinco De Mayo on a Tuesday that was lots of fun. I think that's when the Smiths broke the chair and Grant, Sue, and I got way toasted for a 'school-night'.
For us, we're probably good with a weekend party. our babysitter is down in Mansfield, so that's a *lot* of driving for a Monday night. I know we can bring the boy but I think he'll still be too small for something like that. I know, I'm probably being over-protective.

Overprotective? What are you trying to say??? Are you implying that Joey shouldn't be hitting the tequila in May?

We can put the baby in our room, just bring your monitor. We have done it for years with lots of kids. But naturally it is up to your comfort level. Plus for any other night, don't forget about me as a babysitter. I'm closer than Mansfield.
