How about August 11th? I don't think any of us have a birthday on that date, so it would be perfect for an Unbirthday party.

I'll be out of town that weekend, but feel free to have a good time in my absence (yeah, like that's possible )

This is the BEST idea! I SO wish that I could make it! But it looks like my days off are fixing to switch to Sundays and Mondays... Oh well. I think that the un-birthday cake is kinda cool... but you should do something wierd like icing on the inside since it's sposed to be opposite. Presents: I like the idea of stealing them.... You all bring about 3 or 4, then just go around and pick which ones you want!

my schedule just doesn't cooperate I get back from my trip that week and then a friend of mine is having an engagement party that same day...seeing as how I'm spending 11 days in another country and 28+ hours on a plane with her I gotta go to that one first. But I'll stash my Queen of Hearts stuff in the back seat so I can come over and yell OFF WITH HER HEAD after you guys are all drunk.

Ok, I'm going ahead and setting the date for August 11th. Sue has committed to making an Unbirthday cake that should be quite a spectacle!

No.... What would make you ask that. It is still August the 11th, and it will likely still be in the evening, not in teh afternoon like I suggested.

Oh... I thought the date change was for the Red Cross stuff. Earlier in teh post it read...
Teri - Ty, i'm not teaching the red cross cpr/first aid course this saturday. thought you should know....hopefully you'll check the boards. if not, i may try to call you sometime today
Abby - hey! I didn't know you teach Red Cross First Aid and CPR Terri! I need to get my certifications redone.
Teri - Abby, i charge 55.00 for the course. i'm trying to find time to teach it. i'm thinking August 11th now. it's a Saturday
Ty - I work that day, and also the unbirthday party day.. though I can probably try to negotiate working friday and having sat off if need be.
Teri - Well crapola...i knew august the 11th was the unbday bash but time has no meaning when I can't keep up with it. it's more efficient to give you guys enough advanced notice so you can plan your schedule accordingly.
what about august 16th...? you guys can suggest a time...it will take about 3-4 hours to get through it.
------------------------------ I thought it was in reference to the main conversation about the Red Cross Training changing dates, not the party changing dates. Teri, If I am mistaken and you were suggesting changing the party date, then that is fine with me as well. I have both dates available. Though the party might still work better on a Saturday, which is the 18th...

I'm okay with the 11th, if its in the evening. I just work till 5pm, not a big deal on the 11th.
